We will be returning to the South by Southwest festival this year for our second official showcase. This year we play Friday, March 17, 8 PM at The Iron Bear (121 W. 8th St., Austin, TX). Sunday, June 12, we will be playing The Sidewinder with two of our favorite bands, Alter Der Ruine from Tucson and Nite from Dallas. Also on the bill are locals, Lustron, and our friend DJ Scorpio. Its going to be a great night of synth/noise/dream pop and the final night of Alter Der Ruine’s “Gravity Finds Us All Tour”. Tickets will be available here.

SXSW 2016 Showcasing Artist

2016 marks the first year we are playing South by Southwest as an official showcasing artist. Our showcase is Wednesday, March 16 at the new Voodoo Doughnuts (212 East 6th St.). We play at 11 PM.

A Celebration of music by The Cure

March 4, 2016, we will be performing at Cheer Up Charlie’s for Lucy The Poodle Productions‘ A Celebration of Music by The Cure. Our set includes The Hanging Garden, If Only Tonight We Could Sleep, and Lullaby. The show is free and donations will be collected for Teenage Cancer Trust. We play at 9:50.

Stubb’s and the North Door

We have two exciting shows coming up at venues we have not yet played. The first is next Thursday, August 20 at Stubb’s BBQ with Texas Microphone Massacre. Tickets are $5 in advance and are available from Frontgate Tickets. The second show is the release party for our first vinyl single, “Fever”! We have been waiting all year for this and are happy to announce our special guest, Mr. Kitty. In addition, touring acts Darren Keen and Giant Claw open the show. The “Fever” 7″ Release Show will take place on Thursday, September 17 at The North Door which is a cool space with a huge projection wall. It might be a while until our visuals take up this much space again. Tickets for the release show are $8 in advance and available here.

In the Beginning, there was the ™WORD

Our first album, ‘WORD – The Many Ways Of Rainy Days‘, is now available in Digital and CD formats! We took inspiration from DIY 7″ records for the CD package which includes a hand stenciled poster and a translucent vellum sleeve with a hand screened WORD element. The CD is also available as 3 different shirt bundles. The album is available through our store, as well as iTunes, Beats Music, Spotify, and others.

™WORD Release and Upcoming Shows

We are currently finishing our first album, “The Many Ways Of Rainy Days”. It is scheduled to be released February 18th in digital and CD formats. The CD version is a limited, numbered edition of 100. The CD is also available with a few CD/shirt packages, including a limited edition “Remission” variant of our “Recovering Goth” shirt. The album can be preordered from our store.

We will also be playing a few shows to celebrate the release. We will be returning to the place we first started, Red Eyed Fly, for a CD Release show in the lounge on February 28th. Then, on March 7th, we return to San Antonio for a First Friday set at Propaganda Palace followed by a CD Release show at Oak Hills Tavern on March 8th.
